Amherst Skeleton Run

The Amherst Skeleton Run is a family-friendly running event held at Amherst Steele High School in Amherst, Ohio (450 Washington Ave). The program offers a 5K Run plus two youth events: a 1/4‑mile Silly Run for K–5 and a 1/2‑mile Funny Run for 6–8th graders. The day features a costume contest, dog and stroller divisions, chip timing for the 5K, and post‑race food and drinks.

Kids’ races are free, and participants receive medals and optional shirts or a stocking hat. Proceeds benefit RUNAMHERST.com. Walkers are welcome, and the event is organized by Hermes Sports & Events with RunSignup support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
