Run Inside the Wire Marathon

Run Inside the Wire 10K and Full Marathon is held in Grafton, Ohio, entirely within the Grafton Correctional Institution's secure perimeter. The event offers two distances: a 10K and a full marathon. The course is a unique 3/4-mile loop inside the prison grounds, run alongside residents in the Running2bwell program.

Proceeds benefit Running2bwell's wellness initiatives for the men at GCI. Entrants must be 21 or older, and women must follow a dress code (shirts with sleeves, mid-thigh shorts, no tight wear), with a small cap of 30 entrants. Runners receive a custom T-shirt.
