About the race
Angel's Rest is a trail running event in the Columbia River Gorge near Cascade Locks, Oregon, starting at Benson State Recreation Area. Distances include 50K, 20 Mile, 10K, and a 10K Youth Trail option. Runners enjoy sweeping gorge views, Multnomah and Wahkeena Falls, and climbs to Larch Mountain with vistas of the Gorge and the Angel’s, Devil’s Rests.
The 50K features about 6500 ft of gain and loss with four full aid stations; the 20M has 4200 ft gain; the 10K about 1600 ft gain. Trails are mostly single-track with gravel and pavement, set amid forest recovery after the Eagle Creek fire. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
