About the race
Lastest Not Fastest is a last-person-standing trail race held on Hamilton Island, Washington, in the Columbia River Gorge. The course is a flat 4.13-mile loop with about 103 feet of gain, run on forest trails that offer views of the river and the Oregon side near Bonneville Dam. Runners depart on the hour and must complete each loop within an hour to stay in the race, with shorter loops providing brief rest periods before the next lap.
The event continues until only one runner remains. An on-site aid station, spectator-friendly setup, and optional crew support add to the experience, with a 125-participant capacity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
