Thunder River

Thunder River is a trail running event held in the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon, with races of 25K and 50K distances. Both courses are primarily point-to-point, featuring stunning fall scenery along the iconic Pacific Crest Trail and Gorge 400 trail. Runners pass under the Bridge of the Gods into Cascade Locks and finish with a loop around Thunder Island on the Columbia River, concluding at Marine Park.

The event offers a scenic and challenging trail experience, staged at Marine Park in Cascade Locks, about 40 minutes east of Portland.
