The Ruff - Carson, WA

The Ruff is a challenging 7-mile trail race held at Dog Mountain Trailhead in Carson, Washington, within the scenic Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. The course features a steep 3-mile ascent gaining 3,000 feet to Dog Mountain's summit, followed by a 4-mile downhill run on single-track trails via the Augspurger Trail. Runners are rewarded with stunning views of the Columbia River, Mt.

Hood, and Mt. St. Helens.

Awards include top male/female finishers, masters, and special honors for fastest downhill and "King/Queen of the Mountain."
