Apa & Apaf Moore Equity in Mental Health 5K Run, Walk, & Roll
The 5th Annual APA & APAF MOORE Equity in Mental Health 5K Run, Walk, & Roll is held in Wheaton Regional Park, Maryland, supporting mental health awareness for young people of color. Participants can join in person or remotely from their home communities. The event features a certified 5K course within the scenic park setting, with parking available nearby and accessible via the Glenmont Metro station.
The race promotes community engagement and fundraising to benefit the APA/APAF Moore Equity in Mental Health Community Grants Program. Fundraisers who raise $100 by mid-June receive a commemorative T-shirt and medal. The event fosters a supportive atmosphere to honor mental health advocate Bebe Moore Campbell.
