Event

The Arizona Monster 300 is a multi-day, point-to-point ultramarathon in Southern Arizona. The 2026 edition is scheduled for March 27 to April 3, 2026 and is based in Patagonia, Arizona. The route crosses the Sonoran Desert and high-elevation mountain terrain and takes place on National Forest lands.

Course details and services

The course distance is 304 miles with total elevation gain of 41,162 ft and elevation loss of 41,463 ft. Terrain breakdown: 259.1 miles (84% single-track), 34 miles (10% bike path), 9.5 miles (3% paved road), and 6 miles (2% dirt road). There are 19 aid stations and a 170 hour cutoff.

Race services and features include live runner tracking, drop bag transport to many aid stations, bus transport to the start for those parking at the finish, aid stations and sleep stations, food and drinks on course, and an on-site medical team. Event items listed for entrants include a duffel bag and race shirt, with handmade finisher awards and a finisher mug. The event donates to local groups, including the Arizona Trail Association, Patagonia Youth Enrichment Center, and a local food bank.
