Event overview
Old Pueblo Endurance Runs is an ultramarathon held in Sonoita, Arizona on March 7, 2026. The event offers the following distances:

- 25 miles
The race is run on trails and forest service roads in the southeastern Santa Rita Mountains and forms the last leg of the Southern Arizona Triple 50 series.
Course and timing
The course starts at the historic mining site of Kentucky Camp and follows part of the Arizona Trail. The standard course is a 25-mile loop through forest service roads and trails. Elevation at the start and finish is 5,142 ft, with course elevations ranging from 4,031 ft to 6,232 ft and an average grade of 6%. Time limits are 7 hours for the 25-mile event and 15 hours for the 50-mile event. The 2026 route follows the revised 2025 course, routing runners down Fish Canyon from Melendrez Pass to the Cave Creek aid station and omitting the Greaterville trail and off-trail wilderness bypass.
Entry, awards and policies
Top three male and female finishers in each event receive special awards; all finishers receive awards and sponsor items, and a post-race cookout is provided. The race awards four Angeles Crest 100 tickets to the first and second place male and female finishers in the 50-mile race. A 10% discount is offered to Native Americans, active duty military, law enforcement, fire fighters and first responders. No refunds are offered; up to five entries may be deferred to the following year. Runners must be 18 years of age to enter.
