Armed Forces Half

The Armed Forces Half & First Responders 5K is held at Briones Regional Park, Bear Creek Staging Area in Lafayette, California. This event honors military personnel and first responders, including a memorial 5K for fallen Sheriff Tobin Bolter. The courses feature significant elevation changes with rolling hills and scenic views, challenging participants physically and inspiring them.

The event is capped at 500 runners for each distance and includes a half marathon and a 5K. Participants receive a custom technical shirt, a commemorative medal, a parking pass, and post-race food and drinks. Safety cut-off times are enforced at water stops due to the course difficulty.
