About the race
Arrowhead Endurance Run takes place at Arrowhead Lake Campground in Johnston City, Illinois, just north of Marion. The course is a certified 2.07-mile loop around Arrowhead Lake, predominantly gravel with a short concrete section by the boat ramp, offering less than 50 feet of elevation change per loop. Participants can choose from multiple timed formats: 3-, 6-, 12-, 12-hour night-time, 24-hour, and 24-hour relay events.
Finishers receive medals and shirts; the 24-hour race offers buckles for 100 miles. The event features a single aid station, camping on-site, and chip timing; donations support Finding Forever Rescue. Chip timing is provided by SoILL Racing.
