Arsenal 5k

Arsenal 5k Run/Walk is a volunteer-organized, family-friendly 5K held on the historic IPS Arsenal Technical High School campus in Indianapolis, Indiana. The event offers a 5K for adults and a 5K for students (students’ entries are free but do not include a race shirt). The casual, mixed-terrain course weaves around the campus, beginning and ending near the West Gym, with a lap in Longshore Stadium and a loop around the Fountain in the Quad.

Surfaces include asphalt, concrete, brick, grass and gravel, and the route features many turns on a non-closed course that may share space with pedestrians. Proceeds support scholarships and grants for Arsenal Tech students, part of a long-running nonprofit effort that has donated over $65,000 since 2000.
