About the race
The Ashland Bruin Fun Run and 5K in Manassas, VA is a community school fundraiser hosted by Ashland Elementary School. The event offers a 5K out-and-back course through the Ashland neighborhood and a 1-mile loop from the school, with certified courses for both distances. Now in its 20th year, the race adds a 1-Mile Elite group and a stroller award category.
Parking is available nearby; restrooms are in the school gym; one water station at the 1-mile point, with snacks after. Proceeds benefit Ashland Elementary, its physical education program, and Forest Park High School cross country/track for students and families.
