Athens Ohio Marathon

The Athens Ohio Marathon, held annually since 1968, is Ohio's longest consecutively run marathon. Located in beautiful Athens, Ohio, the race starts in Uptown Athens near Ohio University's College Green. The course quickly joins the Hockhocking-Adena Bikeway, offering a fast, flat route through the scenic Hocking River valley, ideal for runners aiming to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
