About the race
The Ayer Fire Department Thanksgiving Day 5K is a community running event in Ayer, Massachusetts on Thanksgiving Day. The 3.1-mile course is mostly flat with a few short hills, running down Main Street. Marshals monitor the route and a water station is provided.
Highlights include awards for top overall finishers, top first responders, and age-group prizes from 10 and under to 80 and above. Registration is $30 in advance (through Nov 26) or $35 on race day. The event fosters a family-friendly, holiday atmosphere with on-site bib pickup.
