The Bakersfield Turkey Day Run takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at The Park at River Walk, 11298 Stockdale, Bakersfield, CA 93311. This is the 9th annual edition. Free parking is available at the venue. The event offers multiple participation options:

Features, logistics and charity
Packet pickup is held the day before the event at Stretch Zone, 12716 Stockdale Hwy, suite 600, Bakersfield 93314, and is also available on event morning. Participants receive a long sleeve Thanksgiving shirt and a finisher's medallion; donuts are provided for finishers. The event lists age group awards for the 5k and an overall male and female prize purse. Additional activities include a Gobble & Strut contest, music, costume and spirit awards, and a largest group contest. The event supports the Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK) Food Bank; donations collected during registration benefit the food bank.
