Event details
Band on the Run is an annual 5K run/walk held in October in Worcester, NY. The event was started in October 2014 by a group of Worcester parents and school staff. Proceeds support the Worcester Central School music program and the event is described as a way to promote school spirit. The school band program is noted to have won hundreds of awards in the past decade.
Registration and logistics

Preregistration fees are listed as $25 for adults, $10 for students 18 and under, and $60 for a family (maximum six people). An additional $5 convenience fee applies. T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 150 participants. Packets and on-site registration are available on the race day morning.
