Barr Trail Mountain Race

Barr Trail Mountain Race is a 12.6-mile summer mountain running event along Pikes Peak. The course starts at Cog Railway Station in Manitou Springs (6,570 ft), ascends Barr Trail to Barr Camp at 10,200 ft, then turns, descends, and finishes at Barr Trailhead. The race is CUP-less and runners should bring a refillable cup or reservoir for on-course nutrition and hydration.

It operates under a permit from Pike National Forest and is part of Garden to Peak Challenge, joining Garden of the Gods 10-Mile Run and the Pikes Peak Ascent or Marathon. It began in 2000. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
