The Battle of Salado Creek is Race 2 of the 2026 Alamo Beer Series Challenge. It takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Lady Bird Johnson Park on Nacogdoches Road in San Antonio, Texas. The event webpage and course maps are provided by the organizer.

- 0.05k fun run There are also walk-only and virtual entry options for several distances.
Packet pick up is available on race day at the race start location. Timing uses chip technology and participants will start in waves; age group awards are based on chip time. Awards are given to first overall male and female, first overall masters male and female, and age-group places 1st through 4th.
Published standard entry fees are: half marathon $99, 10 mile $60, 5 mile $50, 5k $45. Prices increase 15 days before the race and again on race day. A 50% discount applies automatically for participants aged 16 and younger and for those 70 and older; additional discount codes should not be used with this offer. Virtual runners may request packet mailing for a fee (listed as $12 per packet). The event policy states no refunds and charges apply for race transfers before the event; no transfers after race day.
