The Battle of Stonington 5K is scheduled for August 18, 2026 in Stonington, Connecticut. The race includes the following distances:
- 5K: Walk or Run
- Kids' Fun Run: open to ages 10 and under
The event benefits the Stonington Free Library and lists Dime Bank as a lead sponsor.
Logistics
The course is a certified 5K that loops through the seaside village of Stonington Borough. The start and finish are on Main Street adjacent to the Stonington Free Library. On-street parking is available. Packet pickup is noted in two locations: an early pickup at Kelley's Pace in Mystic and packet pickup on the grounds of the Stonington Free Library. Food, drink, and an awards ceremony are planned after the race. A course map is provided as a downloadable PDF.

- $31 until July 27
- $36 from July 28 to August 18
- $41 on race day
