Mad 5k

The MAD 5K is an annual running event held at Ocean Beach Park in New London, Connecticut. This relatively flat 5K course offers scenic water views, making it an enjoyable run for participants. The event honors military service, with discounts for veterans and active-duty members, and 100% of net proceeds benefit the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society.

The first 100 finishers receive participation medals, and age group winners earn first-place medals. Beyond the race, attendees can enjoy a full day of Military Appreciation festivities at Ocean Beach Park, including rides, a waterslide, miniature golf, and a military ceremony recognizing service members.
