Bay Area 100 - June 6, 2026

The Bay Area 100 is a point-to-point 100-mile race in Berkeley, California. The course starts at California Memorial Stadium and finishes on the track at Skyline High School in Oakland. The route includes about 18,000 ft of vertical gain and travels across ridgelines, exposed ridges, redwood forest and lake-shore fire trails. The course passes Bay View, Las Trampas, Lake Chabot and Redwood areas. The field for 2026 is limited to 150 entrants. The event will include aid stations, cutoffs and crew-accessible locations.

Entry, qualification and organizer

Pre-registration reservations for 2026 open on September 1, 2025 and run through December 7, 2025; pre-registration is free though credit card information is collected, and reservations provide a first right of refusal to register. Registration closes on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Applicants are asked to provide a recent race, date and time during pre-registration. A 50-mile finish within the prior year is recommended; exceptions may be requested. The Bay Area 100 is listed as a UTMB index race and finishing times will be entered within two weeks of completion.
