Event overview
The 14th annual Baylor College of Medicine Well-Being Community 5K and Well-Being Fair is an in-person community run organized by BCMstudents and BCM Well-Being. The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2025, in Houston, TX, at Helix Park near the McNair/Jamail Campus. Distances offered include:
- 5K
- Kids 1K
Course, registration, and beneficiaries
The race start is on the McNair Campus near Butler Blvd. and Wyndale St. Parking is available at 7200 Cambridge St. Route maps, including the Kids 1K and a new 2025 course, are provided by the organizer. A virtual race app is available to track a race using a phone GPS and upload a verified time.
Proceeds benefit the Grants for Leadership Opportunities in Wellness (GLOW) award, which funds BCM student projects that support community healthcare and well-being initiatives. Recent GLOW-funded projects include a yoga series linked to anatomy coursework, a five-event Emotional Roller Coaster Series for peer sharing and resource education, and community blood glucose and blood pressure screenings in predominantly Hispanic underserved areas.
