About the race
Be Great 5K is an annual charity running event in Dover, Delaware, organized by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware. The race, the 12th Annual Be Great 5K Walk/Run, takes place at the Greater Dover Boys & Girls Club, 1683 New Burton Road, Dover 19904, and features a 5K Walk/Run and a Kids Run. Proceeds benefit the Greater Dover Boys & Girls Club and Dover Area School-Based Clubs.
The event fosters a community, family-friendly atmosphere with a course map available for directional guidance. Awards include overall and masters medals, plus top age-group medals, with timing by gun for overall/master and CHIP for age groups, and it occurs on Saturday morning.
