Be Happy Road Race
The Be Happy Road Race, held annually in Windsor, Connecticut, offers a variety of live and virtual running events including a Kid Fun Run 1K, 5K Run/Walk, and 10K Run. The in-person races start at The Villages at Poquonock and feature USATF-certified courses through the scenic town. The kid's 1K is a safe, closed-loop course with enthusiastic support from the community and cheer squads.
Participants in the 5K and 10K receive a race t-shirt and finisher medal, with cash prizes awarded to top overall male and female finishers. Virtual options include 5K, 10K, and a Race for Hope Challenge. All registration fees support cancer research at Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center.
