Bear Country 10k

The Bear Country 10k & 5k are family-friendly races held in the scenic mountain town of Brevard, North Carolina, starting and finishing at Oskar Blues Brewery. The courses run along the Brevard greenway, offering beautiful mountain views. The event also features a 1k Kids Cub Crawl for children 12 and under.

Participants receive a wooden finisher medal, long-sleeve race shirt, chip timing, and an Oskar Blues beer. Strollers are welcome, but dogs are only allowed at the brewery, not on the course. A portion of proceeds supports Mountain Roots, a nonprofit promoting outdoor education for youth in Western North Carolina. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
