Bear Country 10k

The Bear Country 10k & 5k are family-friendly races held in the scenic mountain town of Brevard, North Carolina, starting and finishing at Oskar Blues Brewery. The courses run along the Brevard greenway, offering beautiful mountain views. The event also features a 1k Kids Cub Crawl for children 12 and under.

Participants receive a wooden finisher medal, commemorative race shirt, chip timing, and an Oskar Blues beer, with options for non-alcoholic beverages. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome. A portion of proceeds supports Mountain Roots, a nonprofit promoting outdoor education in Western North Carolina.
