TreeTops 8.5 Mile Race

The TreeTops 8.5 Mile Race is an annual trail running event held in DuPont State Recreational Forest near Brevard, North Carolina. Limited to 300 participants, this challenging 8.5-mile course features nearly 1,000 feet of elevation gain through 10,000 acres of scenic forest with rolling hills and towering trees. The race benefits the Friends of DuPont State Forest and offers amenities such as hydration stations, medical aid, and post-race refreshments.

Participants receive a custom sweatshirt if registered early. After the race, attendees can enjoy the free DuPont Forest Festival with vendors, outdoor activities, and family-friendly events, making it a unique and immersive outdoor experience.
