Bears Ears Marathon
The Bears Ears Marathon and Half takes place in Blanding, Utah, near the Bears Ears National Monument. Featuring both marathon (26.2 miles) and half marathon (13.1 miles) distances, the course is a certified USATF point-to-point route that starts at 6,100 feet elevation in Blanding and descends over 1,700 feet along Highway 191 through San Juan County to Bluff, Utah. Known as one of the fastest courses in the Four Corners region, it is a Boston Marathon qualifier designed for runners aiming for personal bests.
