Bears Ears Ultra
Bears Ears Ultra is a trail running event held in the scenic Abajo Mountains near Monticello, Utah. It offers three race distances: 50 miles, 50K, and 30K. Participants experience stunning panoramic views of iconic landmarks such as Canyonlands National Park, Bears Ears National Monument, Monument Valley, and the La Sal Mountains.
The course reaches elevations near 11,000 feet, providing expansive vistas of Southeastern Utah’s canyon country and remote singletrack trails. Runners start early to enjoy a sunrise over Canyonlands and traverse the Robertson Pasture Trail with sights extending to Colorado’s San Juan Mountains.
