Belle Sherman 5K and Fun Run

The Belle Sherman 5K and Fun Run is an annual community running event held at Belle Sherman Elementary School in Ithaca, NY. The event features a USA Track & Field sanctioned 5K race and a non-competitive Fun Run designed for younger children and casual runners. The 5K course is mostly flat, starting at the school and following an out-and-back route through local streets and the East Ithaca Recreation Trail, including a notable hill on Honness Lane.

The Fun Run takes place entirely on school grounds around the playground. The event promotes fitness, community spirit, and supports the school PTA and fifth graders' trip.
