Bend Marathon and Half - 2026 event
The Bend Marathon and Half will hold its 10th edition on April 12, 2026. The weekend includes in-person and virtual options across several distances. Registration for many events opens July 1, 2025, and fees increase in tiered periods as the event date approaches. The event finishes in town at the Les Schwab Amphitheater and includes a finish-area afterparty and vendors.

Course notes: Marathon and half courses run through West Bend neighborhoods, the Tetherow area and a paved trail through the Deschutes National Forest paralleling the Cascade Lakes Highway, ending at the Les Schwab Amphitheater. The 10k and 5k routes run through the Old Mill District and several Bend parks, finishing at the Les Schwab Amphitheater.
Youth and kids: A free virtual youth running program is offered for Central Oregon youth; participants who complete a virtual 5k, 10k, half or full marathon by the program deadline receive the corresponding medal. The kids on-site race is held near the main event start at Old Mill West Parking and is free on race day. The event operates as a cupless race and provides standard race services such as packet pickup, bag check and aid stations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
