About the race
The Better Together 5K is an annual community event held at Berea City Park in Berea, Kentucky, supporting the Berea Food Bank. Celebrating its 33rd year, the event features a relatively flat and fast 5K run/walk course through the park and city trail, including an out-and-back route with a loop around the soccer field. Participants can choose from a 5K run/walk, a Kid's Dash, or a virtual option.
The race welcomes wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and leashed dogs. Runners enjoy winter beanies or fleece headbands, awards across multiple age groups, free snacks, hot chocolate, music, and community festivities, including a college homecoming celebration.
