Bigfoot 200 : event details

The Bigfoot 200 is a nonstop, point-to-point 200.1 mile endurance run through the Cascade Mountains of Washington. The 2026 event is scheduled for August 14-18, 2026. Registration for the 2026 lottery is open from August 9 through August 23, 2025, with the lottery drawing on August 25, 2025. The race is described as the first point-to-point 200+ mile race in the United States and is listed as one of the Triple Crown of 200 mile races.

Course and support

The course starts at Mount St. Helens and finishes in Randle, WA, traversing National Forest lands and circumnavigating Mount St. Helens, Mount Hood, and Mount Rainier. The route includes lava fields, long mountaintop ridge lines, old growth forests, streams and rivers, and varied mountain and lake views. The course is fully marked with reflective ribbons and signs and has significant elevation change: about 44,000+ feet of ascent and about 45,000 feet of loss. Runners have aid along the route, with 13 full aid stations offering hot food and medical support, plus several designated sleep stations and a light breakfast aid location at Marble Mountain Sno-Park.
