Event details
The Bigfoot Classic - Oklahoma City is scheduled for January 17, 2026 at Wheeler Park, 1120 S Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73108. The event is held in a park setting and may use mixed surfaces - paved trails, crushed granite and occasional dirt paths. Packet pickup is offered 1.5 hours before the event start. Aid stations will provide water on course. All finishers of all distances receive a shirt and a medal. Shirt guarantee cutoff is 10 days before the event. Races proceed rain, shine, hot or cold.
Events and distances
- Kids Dash - about 50 meters, for kids 10 and under.
- 1 Mile - not chip timed; includes shirt and medal.
- 5K - 3.11 miles, chip timed, overall trophies and age awards.
- 10K - 6.22 miles, chip timed, overall trophies and age awards.
- 15K - 9.33 miles, chip timed, overall trophies and age awards.
- Volunteer then Run 5K - limited to first 10, includes chip timing and medal.
- Virtual Run - registration option.
Awards, contest and volunteering
The 5K, 10K and 15K are chip timed and offer standard age-group awards. There are 1st overall male and female trophies, special recognition for masters age 40+, and age-group pins (gold, silver, bronze) across ranges from 10 and under through 70+. A costume contest awards one crowd-chosen winner the "Legendary Beast" trophy, a Bigfoot prize pack and a free entry to a future Bigfoot Classic. Volunteer roles include water station, course monitors, finish line helper, sweeper, packet pickup, lead bike and mascot. Full race volunteers receive a race shirt, VIP race access and a choice of a free future race entry or a $20 prepaid digital gift card.
