Event overview
The Rodeo Stampede - Oklahoma City is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Draper Park, 8301 SE 104th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73165. The event includes on-site and virtual options and features a Cowboy Costume Contest, a Bigfoot mascot appearance, a DJ, snacks and refreshments at a race rally tent, and race photography. All finishers receive a shirt and a medal; the event listing also describes a belt-buckle style finisher medal. Aid stations will be available on course.
Race format, distances and awards
- Kids Dash - for ages 10 and under, about 50 meters, not timed.
- 1 Mile - not chip timed.
- 5K - 3.11 miles, chip timed.
- Quarter Marathon - 6.55 miles, chip timed.
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles, chip timed.
- Volunteer then Run 5K - chip timed, limited to first 10 sign-ups.
- Virtual Run.
The 5K, quarter marathon and half marathon offer 1st overall trophies for male and female finishers, masters recognition pins for 1st place in age 40+ masters, and standard age-group pins for multiple age brackets from 10 and under through 70+. Course surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite and occasional dirt paths. Volunteer roles are available with benefits for full volunteers; one volunteer option includes a chip-timed bib, shirt and finisher medal for the 5K.
