Black Friday 10k

The 2025 Black Friday 5k & 10k is a scenic running event held at Frying Pan Park in Herndon, Virginia. The course features a combination of a technical trail with rocks and roots and mostly flat, light gravel dirt roads. The 5k consists of two laps, while the 10k includes four laps of the route.

Walkers are welcome, and a virtual race option is available for remote participants. Runners receive a finisher’s medal, a technical Drifit event shirt, and chip timing. The event supports BlackBearSledDog.com, a charity dedicated to finding homes for retired sled dogs from Alaska. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
