The Black River Trail Classic takes place on October 18, 2025, in Black River State Forest, Millston, WI. This is the 9th running of the event. Distances offered are:

Participant items and course notes
All registrants receive a winter hat (beanie). Finishers receive collectible hand crafted wooden medals that can be personalized. Runners who register before September 1, 2025 receive a personalized bib. First-time finishers of the 85K receive a hooded sweatshirt and a commemorative patch; subsequent 85K finishes earn additional patches for the same sweatshirt. The event provides hot food at the finish line and pies. Chapstick is also available. The courses are described as extremely well marked. The route includes ridge views and fall foliage.
