Black Toe Run : event information
The Black Toe Run is a timed trail event at Hardin Farm in Watertown, TN. It is offered as 12-hour and 24-hour options, with a 48-hour option available as an experimental format. Entry may be as an individual or as a team of 2 or 4. The objective is to complete as many loop laps as possible within the chosen time period. Registration closes Fri, Jan 30 (as listed).

Course, rules and services
The course is a loop of about 5 miles with roughly 1,000 ft of vertical gain; plans exist to add a small trail section to make the loop exactly 5 miles. Aid at the barn includes water, electrolytes and typical aid-station food; participants commonly share homemade food. A brewery will provide beer on site. The barn is the only official aid station; porta-johns, charging outlets and a bonfire are provided.
Key rules: only one runner per team may be on course at a time; runners must record lap times on the event board; each team member must complete at least one lap every 12 hours unless injured; runners are responsible for their own warmth and shelter; littering may lead to disqualification. A 15-minute grace period applies at the finish, after which mileage is deducted per 15-minute increment. A rucking division requires carried weight based on body weight and random checks; weigh-ins are required. Awards include gender/team places, a stein for 50 miles in 12 hours, and a prize for the first 100-mile 24-hour finisher. New long-term jackets are awarded starting on the fifth year of attendance.
