44th Annual Boar's Head Turkey Trot 5K
The Boar's Head Turkey Trot is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025 in Charlottesville, VA. The event benefits UVA Health Children's and is organized as a road race that starts and ends at Boar's Head Resort, with a route that winds through surrounding neighborhoods and is described as very hilly. All 5K registrants receive a long sleeve unisex t-shirt.

Logistics and event details
Registration is available only online through Run Sign Up. The listed entry fee for the 5K is $45; the Tiny Turkeys dash is free. Packet pick-up is offered on multiple dates at Three Notch’d Brewing Company and at the McArthur Squash Center at the Boar's Head Sports Club. Parking at the resort is available but limited; carpooling is encouraged. Strollers are allowed on the course; pets are not allowed. Hydration will not be provided on the course, but water is available at the finish. An awards ceremony will recognize top finishers by gender in each age group.
