Candy Cane Course - Kansas City
The Candy Cane Course - Kansas City takes place on December 14, 2025, at Liberty Community Center, 1600 S. Withers Road, Liberty, MO 64068. The event program includes the following distances and options:
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- 5k
- 12k
- Kids Dash (untimed, ages 10 and under)
- Virtual Race
Event fees range from $22 to $44. Youth pricing for the 5k and 12k is $22 for participants 12 and under. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash registrations include a bib, shirt, and finisher medal; the 1 Mile and Kids Dash are untimed and do not qualify for age-group awards.
Logistics and additional information
The 5k and 12k are chip-timed with live results and awards. Age-group awards for the 5k and 12k include overall, masters (40+), and top three in multiple age brackets. Packets and race swag include a designer shirt and custom medal; registering by the stated deadline guarantees a shirt. Free photos and finish-line treats are provided. A virtual option includes a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and packet shipping (packets ship the Wednesday after the race). Course maps for the 5k and 12k and an interactive map are available; the course is subject to change for permit or safety reasons. The organizer maintains a no-refund policy and will transfer participants to the virtual event if cancellation is required by venue or hazardous conditions.
