About the race
Located on Seabrook Island, the Bohicket 5K & Half Marathon offers a 5K and half marathon with virtual and walk options. The course winds through sea island marshes with Atlantic views and a canopy of historic trees, with wildlife such as island deer and native birds. A nearby equestrian center adds a unique touch, as horses have been known to run beside runners along the fence.
Finish is at Fresh Fields Village, followed by an after-party with food and beverages. Proceeds benefit the Kiawah-Seabrook Exchange Club, Charleston Animal Society, and the Charleston Running Club; awards are by gun time (overall) and chip time (age groups). Rain or shine.
