Brazos Bend 100
The Brazos Bend 100 is a premier trail running event held annually in December at Brazos Bend State Park, just south of Houston, Texas. It features multiple race distances including 100 miles, 100 kilometers, marathon, half marathon, and a women's sub-ultra half marathon. Known as one of the fastest trail races in the country, the course is nearly flat (99.9%) with a single 10-foot hill, running on a mix of crushed rock, soft hiking trails, and smooth horse trails.
The race offers four fully stocked aid stations and is a Western States Endurance Run qualifier for sub-30-hour 100-mile finishers. The scenic park is famous for its wildlife, including American alligators, which runners may see from a safe distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
