The trail course is primarily wood-chipped with a portion on maintained grass. Over 60% of the course is shaded. Course markings include 12x12 inch turn arrows, 3 foot tall course signs, and cones. The event is professionally chip-timed.
Distances:
- 5K: 1 lap inside - 3.21 miles
- 10K: 2 laps inside - 6.42 miles
- Half Marathon: 2 laps outside + 1 lap inside - 13.03 miles
The single aid station supplies water, sports drinks, and gels; the 5K passes it twice, the 10K four times, and the half marathon six times. This is a cupless race; participants must bring a reusable cup or hydration system. Parking requires a $7 county day pass or an annual pass purchased online. Race shirts are dry-wick and themed; registering by November 6 guarantees a custom shirt. An early start option is available only for half marathoners with restrictions on awards and course setup.
