Warrior 5K & 8K...Through The Park : overview
The event takes place on November 8, 2025, at Greenfield Park in West Allis, Wisconsin. It is presented by Wisconsin Lutheran College and serves as a fundraiser and community outreach for the college cross country team; a portion of proceeds benefits a local charity. The event offers individual and team entries.

Course, teams, and awards
The course starts near the southwest corner of Greenfield Park and follows trails through trees, woods, and grassy fields. It features rolling terrain, a gradual initial incline, an open grassy stretch along the park's northeast corner, and occasional rough footing in the woods. The final 1.2 miles closely mirrors the opening section.
Teams are four-person squads and are scored like a traditional cross country meet, with points assigned by overall finish and the lowest combined score winning. Team divisions:
- White - four-person, all female
- Green - four-person, all male
- Black - four-person, coed
- Silver - four-person, all members age 40 or older
Awards include top overall male and female in the 5K and 8K, and the top two teams in each division for both distances. Each participant receives a dry wick race T-shirt and post-race snacks are provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
