About the race
The Vets Day 5K & 10K is a commemorative running event held annually at the War Memorial in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Scheduled for November 8, 2025, it features multiple race options including a 5K run and walk, a 10K run, 1K kids' race, and new 5K and 10K ruck events. The course starts and finishes on Mason Street, offering scenic routes through Veterans Park, with the 5K measuring about 3.37 miles and the 10K consisting of two laps totaling approximately 6.26 miles.
The event honors veterans and active-duty service members, supports Operation Finally Home, and includes a unique tradition of participants doing 22 pushups to raise awareness for veteran suicide prevention.
