Event overview
The Bucks & Does 13.1 Pointer takes place on November 15, 2025, at Nashotah Park in Nashotah, WI. The event includes multiple distance options:
- 5K: 1 lap inside - 3.21 miles
- 10K: 2 laps inside - 6.42 miles
- Half Marathon: 2 outside laps + 1 inside lap - 13.03 miles
There is a free Bambi Run 1K for children; kids receive a bib and finisher medal. An early-start option is available only for half marathon participants; early starters receive a chip time but are not eligible for age group or series awards. Non-half marathon participants who start early, or participants who continue after the course is closed, will be disqualified.
Awards include custom woodle awards for the top three male and female finishers in five-year age groups, and a finisher woodle for all participants.
Course and logistics
The trail course is well-groomed and primarily wood-chipped, with a maintained grass section. Over 60% of the course is shaded. Distances are approximate due to trail conditions. Course marking uses 12x12" turn arrows, 3-foot course signs, and cones; traditional ultra trail tape is not used.
There is one aid station supplying water, sports drinks, and gels; the aid station is passed twice in the 5K, four times in the 10K, and six times in the half marathon. The race is cupless - participants must bring a reusable cup or hydration system; a bag drop area is provided. Parking requires a $7 county park day pass or an annual pass purchased online before the event. The event is professionally chip-timed by Silver Circle Sports Events.
