Course and logistics
The route starts and finishes at Costco and follows a planned loop of about 31.44 miles. Planned stops along the route include Stop & Shop at 1.5 miles, Kwik Shop at 8.93 miles, North Walmart/Sam's at 10.54 miles, another Kwik Shop/Speedee Mart at 14.41 miles, HyVee/Scooters/U-Stop at 20.68 miles, South Walmart/Sam's at 24.14 miles, and U-Stop/Starbucks/7Brew near 27.5 miles.
There will be no organized aid, water, or gel stations; participants should plan to be self-supported or use gas stations and grocery stores along the course. There are drop cars planned at the North Walmart/Sam's and at the HyVee/Scooters/U-Stop location. There is no stated time limit or cutoff, and medals will be awarded after the main group returns to Costco; registering by October 16 guarantees a medal.
