Course and logistics
The course is planned to be mostly dirt singletrack with a small portion of crushed limestone - about 85-90% dirt singletrack and 10-15% crushed limestone. The 10K consists of a loop plus an out-and-back section. The 25K is a single large loop that traverses a significant portion of the park trail system. Overall elevation gain is described as negligible, with roughly 100 feet for the 10K and about 200 feet for the 25K.
Trail conditions may include fallen leaves, a few roots and rocks, and several short, punchy hills; parts may be technical for new trail runners. No special gear is required.
