Event details
The 2026 Bunny Run 5k & Festival takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, in Concord, NC, at Fifth Third Bank - Downtown Concord (40 Cabarrus Ave E). The event includes a free festival with face painting, a DJ/MC, food trucks, arts and crafts, and dancing with the Easter Bunny. Races start on McCachern Blvd beside the Cabarrus County Parking Lot.

Registration and logistics
The 5k entry fee is $20; the price increases after April 3, 2026. The Fun Run is free, with 250 spots listed and registration closing on April 4, 2026. Registering by March 13 guarantees a T-shirt. Race day registration carries an additional $10 charge and accepts card only.
Race packet pick-up is available at David Phillips Activity Center on April 2 and at Academy Recreation Center on April 3, with additional packet pickup on race day in the county parking lot next to the start/finish line. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group (10 & under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75 and over). Course maps are provided for both the 5k and the Fun Run. Parking options include the Cabarrus County Parking Garage, the Cabarrus County Lot on Church Street, and the City of Concord Parking Garage.
