Burnin' Rubber 5K Run and Walk
The Burnin' Rubber 5K Run and Walk takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Owosso Speedway in Ovid, Michigan (7204 W. M-21, Ovid, MI 48866). The event uses a newly upgraded flat course that starts and finishes on the speedway track. The event program includes a kids lap that is one lap around the speedway; children aged 12 and under may participate for free and adult supervision is required. Professional timing and official results are provided.

Entry fees listed for the main events are $45 for the 5K run and $45 for the 5K walk; the kids lap is free. Specially designed finisher medals are distributed at the finish and age group awards are given to the top three finishers in each run division. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Durand Eagles, 5240 S. New Lothrop Rd., Durand, MI 48429, and on race day at the speedway. Proceeds from the race support the event's foundation.
